Contact and corrections
Common Inquiry cannot join or advise your research project, but it treats corrections from readers the way good participatory research treats community knowledge: as essential.
Reporting an error
An ethics guideline that has been replaced, a funder rule that changed, a source we summarised unfairly, a wrong date or a dead link: send the page address and the sentence concerned, with the source that shows the correct version if you have it, by post to Common Inquiry at the address in the legal notice. A corrected page shows a new "Updated" date.
What we cannot help with
- Ethics approval and project advice. Contact your institution's research ethics committee or research office, your funder, or a community-university partnership office.
- Legal, tax and benefits questions, for example about payments to community researchers. Use the official services and independent advice organisations in your country.
- Advertising, sponsored articles and paid links. Common Inquiry refuses them, including from universities and funders.
- The former People's Knowledge network, its events or its publications. Those were run by others. Common Inquiry is a separate publication, with no tie to that network and no access to its archives or subscriber lists; the About page sets out the background.
